EntrAxis non-profit cultural association was founded in October 2019 and considers itself a production space for contemporary art and a place of cultural and artistic education.

According to our statutes, the purpose of the association is "the promotion of art and culture, particularly the contemporary art forms, such as performing arts, performance art, conceptual art, fine arts, art film, literature. The association has an intermedial and interdisciplinary character, the core of which is interdisciplinarity between different art forms, cultures and sciences as well as internationality and interculturality. The association promotes activities and projects that deal in artistically, pedagogically and theoretically with such phenomena".

In order to achieve these aims, we offer the following:

  • We create axes through logistical and, if possible, financial support in the implementation of art projects.

  • We connect axes through our international network of artists, curators, and organisers.

  • We create spaces by initiating, organising and visiting events such as conferences, workshops, meetings and festivals where performance, art film, and conceptual art are presented.

  • We connect spaces by initiating and carrying out our own artistic projects.

A word creation from entro - "between" and axis.

A space between two spaces that at the same time connects.

A changeable space, which is created again and again by a network of intersecting axes.

EntrAxis is about investigating what places can absorb from us, and how these places in turn influence our artistic work.

EntrAxis is poetic action. Intellectual honesty. Communication.

EntrAxis is independence and interdisciplinary encounter.
